Celenit boards offer a strong and effective alternative to cement board, plasterboard, rib and expanded metal lath. The open texture of these boards mean that a lime plaster or lime render can be applied directly without the need for latex, PVA or SBR retaining the breathability of the board when used as part of a system.
The 15mm thickness boards are for internal use, the 25mm boards are for internal or external use. We advise the use of alkali resistant mesh embedded in the basecoat render to minimise the risk of cracking where separate boards butt together.
Celenit NC Wood Wool Boards has a very good thermal benefit when selected for use as an insulating board, but what gives it a distinct advantage is the ease of applying wet plasters to the surface as a finish.
Unlike some of the other wood wool products on the market, ours are waterproof, freeze-proof and damp-proof, making them appropriate in damp environments and or in poor weather conditions.
