SkamoWall Basic Board
SkamoWall Basic Board is a calcium silicate internal insulation board designed to improve indoor climate in buildings affected by dampness, condensation, mould, and cold internal wall surfaces. Manufactured from calcium silicate, the board is highly vapour open and moisture regulating, allowing it to absorb, store, and release moisture while maintaining a dry and healthy wall surface.
Unlike impermeable insulation systems, SkamoWall works with the natural moisture movement of the building fabric. This makes it particularly suitable for solid masonry walls, basements, older buildings, and other moisture-sensitive constructions where condensation and mould growth are recurring problems.

Installation Overview
1. Surface Preparation
Remove loose plaster, paint residues, organic material, and any contamination that may affect adhesion.
2. Board Installation
Fix boards directly to suitable mineral substrates using Skamol Lime Mortar adhesive.
3. Joint Treatment
Install boards tightly together and fill joints using the specified Skamol system products.
4. Reinforcement & Finishing
Apply Skamol Lime Mortar or Skamol Smooth Plaster as part of the finishing system where specified.
5. Decoration
Finish with suitable breathable mineral or vapour-open decorative finishes.
