Running Renders are our high-performance Natural Cement mortars purpose-built for the in-situ running and repair of period external cornices and mouldings. Drawing on the Roman-cement tradition, they deliver the speed, edge fidelity, and durability that classical façades demand—without compromising heritage compatibility.
Engineered for professional site work, each mix is tuned for its role in the running sequence: rapid early strength to hold crisp arrises, low shrinkage to keep profiles true, and fine grading where a flawless face is required. Heavy fibre reinforcement in the base layers allows swift dubbing-out and build-up behind the running mould (muffle) with minimal risk of checking, while our super-fine top coat carries the distinctive warm, earthy tones associated with historic Roman-cement finishes. For discrete elements, the complementary casting blend reproduces fine detail cleanly in silicone rubber moulds. A dedicated primer/adhesive ties the system together—both for intercoat bonding slurries and for fixing cast enrichments.
