A fast-setting, binder-rich Natural Cement render with coarse graded sands and heavy fibre reinforcement, developed specifically for the muffle coat stage when running external mouldings in situ. Optimised for rapid build-up behind the running mould, it delivers excellent arris stability, very low shrinkage, and dependable adhesion so you can dub out and form profiles in quick succession with the muffle in place.

Rooted in the 19th–20th-century tradition of Roman Cement, this modern blend is purpose-designed for the re-production and repair of external cornices and mouldings on classical façades.

Key benefits

  • Rapid setting for continuous running passes and same-day build-up.

  • Low shrinkage coarse matrix limits checking and edge pull-back.

  • Heavily fibre-reinforced for toughness in thin or projecting sections.

  • Natural binder (Prompt-type Roman Cement heritage).

  • Heritage-appropriate: compatible with traditional Roman-cement work.

  • Systemised use with fine Top Coat and Casting Blend where required.

Important: In-situ Running Render is very fast setting. Always use with Tempo retarder to secure practical open time and a controlled set—especially in warm, dry, or windy conditions.

Intended use

  • Muffle coat/base build-up for in-situ running of external mouldings.

  • Dubbing-out and profiling behind the running mould prior to finishing coats.

  • Repairs to Roman-cement façades where quick set and rapid sequencing are needed.
