This course will cover the use of foam glass insulation in construction as well as a brief introduction into limecrete flooring.
Roundtower is the the Irish distributor for Glapor Foam Glass Insulation. Glapor foam glass products are vapour-tight, lightweight insulation materials for the construction industry made of 100 % recycled glass. By combining the physical properties of glass with the insulating properties of a closed cell structure, GLAPOR foam glass provides high compressive strength, is lightweight, fire resistant and resistant to rodents.

Course Presenters
Helge Floege
Harry Good-Stephenson Harry Good-Stephenson is the Director of Roundtower Building Products Ltd and has been involved in Roundtower for the past 6 years. He studied Business and Entrepreneurship at the University of Reading. Harry has an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of the restoration and new build industry using lime-based products as well as natural insulations and is heavily involved in advising and assisting architects with specifications for conservation and restoration projects.
On The Day
On the morning of the training course, all participants will receive an email containing the link to join the online course, which will be taking place via Zoom.
There will be a brief introduction from one of the Roundtower Lime team, followed by the presentation by the trainer, with the opportunity to ask questions at the end in a dedicated Q and A session with our guest speaker and our team. We will endeavour to answer all the questions presented during the time slot, however if we don't manage to, any of our team will be happy to follow up after the session.
