SkamoWall Smooth Plaster is a breathable, fine finishing plaster specially formulated for use over SkamoWall calcium silicate boards and other mineral-based insulation systems. Designed to work in harmony with moisture-regulating and capillary-active substrates, this plaster delivers a smooth, durable, and vapour-permeable finish—ideal for improving internal air quality, reducing surface condensation, and preserving the performance of breathable wall systems.

Technical Features:
- Application Thickness: 1.5–2mm in one or two coats.

Application:
1. Surface Preparation

Remove all dust from the mounted SkamoWall Board using a dry brush or vacuum.

Apply Skamol Primer evenly to the board surface.
-
Wait approximately 30 minutes for the primer to dry before proceeding.
2. Mixing Skamol Smooth Plaster

Use clean, potable water – approx. 6 litres per 15kg bag.

In a clean mixing bucket:
-
Pour in 4 litres of water.
-
Add the full 15kg bag of Skamol Smooth Plaster while stirring continuously.

Add the remaining 2 litres of water gradually until the desired consistency is achieved.

Mix vigorously for at least 5 minutes until the plaster is smooth and lump-free.

Let the mix rest for 15 minutes, then stir again until fully homogeneous and free of air bubbles.

Pot life: Use the plaster within 1 hour of mixing.
3. Application

Apply Skamol Smooth Plaster in a 2–3mm thick layer using a plastering trowel.

Level the surface evenly while the plaster is still workable.
4. Finishing

If the hardened surface is uneven or textured, allow it to dry completely.

Sand lightly, then reapply an additional 2–3mm coat of Skamol Smooth Plaster.

Repeat the process if necessary to achieve a perfectly smooth finish.
