The Bahco PC-22-INS ProfCut Insulation Handsaw is a specialist tool designed to cut insulation materials with precision, low friction, and minimal dust. Its waved WT-toothing delivers smooth, efficient cuts across a wide range of materials, making it particularly effective for wood fibre insulation, as well as mineral wool, glass wool, EPS, XPS, and stone wool.
The 550mm (22in) blade is re-sharpenable with any regular knife sharpener, giving it a long service life and reducing the need for replacements. At 0.83mm thick, the blade has the same strength as standard saws but is optimised for insulation performance.
A two-component ergonomic handle provides comfort and control, while the saw comes with a rust-protective sleeve impregnated with a Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) to safeguard the blade. Unlike standard saws, the PC-22-INS blade is not varnished or powder-coated, ensuring reduced friction and superior sharpness.
