Breathaplasta Smooth
Breathaplasta Smooth is a lime-based fine finishing plaster designed to create an ultra-smooth surface finish on internal walls and ceilings. Developed by Adaptavate, it provides a breathable alternative to conventional gypsum skim plasters while maintaining the moisture-regulating benefits of a lime-based system.
Quick and easy to apply, Breathaplasta Smooth is suitable for plasterboard, existing plaster surfaces, and breathable lime plaster systems. Its fast setting time allows projects to be completed efficiently while delivering a high-quality decorative finish.

Why Use Breathaplasta Smooth?

Installation Overview
1. Surface Preparation
Ensure substrates are clean, stable, and suitable for plaster application.
2. Mixing
Mix with clean water in accordance with Adaptavate's current technical guidance.
3. Application
Apply as a thin finishing coat at approximately 2–3mm thickness.
4. Finishing
Trowel to a smooth finish once the plaster has begun to firm up.
5. Decoration
Allow the plaster to dry before applying compatible breathable paints or decorative finishes.
